Swerock, part of the Peab Group, has put its new concrete plant into full operation. Right now, it is located in Helsingborg.
That’s because the concrete plant is mobile, which means it can quickly change locations. If the need arises, the plant can not only be moved but also set up in a short time. For now, though, it stands in Helsingborg.
“It feels great that the new plant is now in place and up and running,” says Mikael Lindhe, head of Fabriksbetong for the South region, adding:
“The new plant is a long-term investment in our presence here in Helsingborg and in the region.”
Replacing the previous stationary facility from the 1980s is an SBM Euromix 3300 Space. The new plant is expected to produce more and to significantly improve the work environment. It will be both brighter and more accessible, making service and maintenance easier. Compared to the previous facility, the plant will also have greater storage capacity for binders and more energy-efficient operations.
The concrete plant is part of Swerock’s continued investment in southern Sweden. The company is planning several large-scale projects in areas such as urban development, infrastructure, and industry.
“With this investment, we ensure both quality and capacity. It puts us in a better position to meet our customers’ needs,” concludes Mikael Lindhe.
