The contract worth around SEK 1.4 billion includes construction, mechanical and electrical works for the redevelopment.
Skanska is leading the construction of a new nine-story office building with two floors below ground. The design and construction of approximately 12,100 square meters of flexible office space includes reconstructing the building’s original, historic facade which was carefully dismantled and stored before being rebuilt into the new structure to preserve and enhance the building’s historic character.
The building is targeting the environmental certifications BREEAM Outstanding, WELL Platinum and Design for Performance to achieve a Nabers 5* rating.
Construction begins in July 2024 and is expected to be completed in January 2027.
