Skanska sells Budapest office for over SEK 1 billion

A fully leased office building in one of Budapest’s prime business districts has changed hands. Skanska has sold the second phase of H2Offices to ERSTE for around SEK 1.1 billion.

Skanska has sold the second phase of its H2Offices complex in Budapest to ERSTE Open-Ended Real Estate Investment Fund. The price tag: approximately SEK 1.1 billion.

The building is currently under construction and will offer around 22,000 square metres of lettable space. The entire area has been leased to a global company on a ten-year deal.

H2Offices is a three-building office complex in the Váci Office Corridor, one of Budapest’s prime business districts. The project features heat pumps, rooftop solar panels and efficient building systems. It is targeting LEED Platinum, WELL Platinum and Access4You Gold certification.

The full complex will offer approximately 67,000 square metres of modern office space. The building is due for completion in the first quarter of 2027. The buyer takes possession in the fourth quarter.
