Skanska wins SEK 1.9bn mystery contract

A SEK 1.9 billion contract, a mystery client and no details about what is being built. Skanska has won its third undisclosed contract in Sweden in quick succession.

Skanska has signed a contract worth SEK 1.9 billion with an undisclosed client in Sweden. The customer, location and project type are all being kept secret.

Construction work starts in August 2026 and runs until the first quarter of 2029. It is the third contract in quick succession where Skanska has declined to reveal the client’s identity.

In previous cases, customers have cited competitive reasons for the secrecy.
