Sweden’s Skanska AB at #315 and among the top contenders in the construction category. The construction heavyweight, with 27,000 employees, also ranked #475 on Forbes’ Best Employers for Women list.
Swedish firms Volvo Group (#33 with 104,000 employees), Sandvik (#44 with 40,000 employees), Atlas Copco (#515 with 45,800 employees) and SKF Group (#653 with 42,641 employees) also made the global ranking.
From Denmark, shipping giant A.P. Moller-Maersk, founded in 1904 and employing 104,260, was recognized alongside engineering companies Danfoss (#159 with 40,043 employees), Vestas Wind Systems (#250 with 29,000 employees) and Grundfos (#366 with 19,000 employees).
Finland’s Kone (#255 with 60,000 employees) and Finnair (#602 with 5,195 employees) flew the flag for the country among the world’s top employers.
