The contract covers the Bäverdalens Sports Hall in Rågsved, the Gränsbergets Sports Hall with artificial turf field and ice rink near Skarpnäcks School in Kärrtorp, and the Akallas Sports Hall and Stenhagens Ball Field in Akalla.
These projects are part of a strategic framework agreement that could eventually expand to include a total of six sports halls.
In the initial phase, Arcona will focus on design and planning according to the ABT 06 model, aiming to deliver sustainable and functional facilities that strengthen Stockholm’s sports and recreation offerings through strategic collaboration.
The three projects are estimated for completion in 2026/2027, while the framework agreement spans four years.
“We are very pleased with this trust from the Property Administration. With our long experience in strategic collaborations and construction of sports halls, we look forward to contributing to the development of Stockholm’s sports infrastructure,” says Ella Bringle, Business Manager at Arcona.
Phase 1 will concentrate on developing system and construction documents and cost estimates as a basis for production in Phase 2.
