Wästbygg’s subsidiary Rekab Entreprenad has signed an agreement with Umeå Municipality for the reconstruction of two fire stations. One station was damaged by heavy snow loads during winter, and the other was affected by a fire. The project will be carried out in collaboration, with the parties jointly planning and designing the reconstruction in Phase 1. The estimated contract value is SEK 75 million.
Rekab Entreprenad has also won a procurement for the renovation of the Kristinelund elderly care home in Sundsvall. This will be carried out as a turnkey contract with an order value of SEK 28 million. The client is Slättö.
Both projects will commence immediately after the summer holidays.
– We thank both clients for the assignments and look forward to continuing our strong position as a builder of public facilities, says Anton Johansson, CEO of Rekab Entreprenad AB.
