Vasakronan Acquires Property Opposite Stockholm Central Station

Vasakronan, Sweden's largest property company, announced the acquisition of the Uggleborg 14 quarter from Union Investment. The purchase price is based on an underlying property value of 715 million Swedish kronor (approximately $70 million).

The leasehold is located opposite the Central Station on Vasagatan 12, adjacent to Vasakronan’s Klara C property and in close proximity to the company’s other properties, Pennfäktaren and Klara Zenit.

The total leasable area amounts to approximately 6,000 square meters, the majority of which consists of office space.

“Sthlm HUB is a high-quality property located in a part of Stockholm that has developed strongly in recent years and will remain attractive over time. With the acquisition, we continue to strengthen our presence in Stockholm’s best communication location, which is fully in line with our strategy,” says Johanna Skogestig, CEO of Vasakronan.
