The Danish Road Directorate has handed over the new Natural History Museum building to the University of Copenhagen. The facility unites the Zoological, Geological and Botanical museums.
The contract will be included in Skanska’s European order bookings for Q3 2024.
The project includes modernizing the two stations with a total of 4 km of new tracks, installing 14 new switches and new safety systems. Skanska will also build four accessible platforms, several new bridges and switches, as well as new station buildings, including a small bus terminal in Hrádek. Upon completion, the modernization will enable potential speed increases in the area.
Construction starts in September 2024 with expected completion in December 2025.
