Construction firm Skanska has sold the “Trollvagnarna” city block development in Sollentuna to residential developer Resona. On the site of the former Sollentuna fair grounds, Resona plans to create approximately 300 new homes that will form a new entranceway to the municipality.
“We are very enthusiastic about partnering to develop Sollentuna and being a long-term partner to the municipality,” said Johan Bonander, Business Development Manager at Resona. “Here we will create the sustainable district and housing of the future for Sollentuna residents, focusing on climate-neutral solutions, green mobility and social sustainability.”
Skanska views the sale positively as the next step in developing the area. “We are pleased to complete this deal with Resona, and it is positive that the area will now be further developed,” said Bengt Fardelius, Business Development Manager at Skanska Sweden.
The project encompasses approximately 300 apartments distributed across two building volumes, with a total gross area of around 27,500 square meters.
Plans also include a garage with spaces for a car and bike pool, as well as ground floor premises for services and businesses that contribute to a vibrant urban life.
The courtyard will feature social spaces and diverse greenery to support Resona’s goals of strengthening biodiversity.
Construction start is planned for 2025.
