The Swedish construction giant Skanska has signed two new contracts in the United States worth a combined SEK 2.1 billion ($210 million).
The larger contract, valued around SEK 1.6 billion ($160 million), is an additional data center project for an existing customer in Arizona. The single-story data center will have an area of approximately 22,700 square meters.
Construction commences in May, with the project targeted for completion in February 2026
The second contract is a $50 million joint venture with B. Bell Builders for a new building at Rice University in Houston, Texas.
The 10,400 square meter facility for the Jones Graduate School of Business will include new classrooms, such as two 120-seat lecture halls, two 65-seat classrooms, two hybrid technology classrooms, student offices, and various meeting spaces.
