Peab takes key role in green industrial transition

The companies have, among other things, signed a letter of intent regarding the construction of the hydrogen plant that LKAB plans in Gällivare. The letter of intent also includes a logistics facility in the Port of Luleå.

LKAB is in the process of transitioning its entire operations to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in the iron and steel industry.

By working closely from the start, Peab can contribute expertise throughout the planning and also build structural capital, work on knowledge transfer between projects, and take overall responsibility for these major construction projects,” says Jan Moström, President and CEO of LKAB.
