Skanska has agreed to sell TingsParken, a self-developed rental housing project in the GoCo district of Mölndal, Gothenburg, to Folksam Group through KPA Pension for approximately SEK 380 million.

Skanska sells GoCo rental scheme to Folksam for SEK 380m. The scheme comprises 128 rental apartments across three buildings of six to nine storeys. The total lettable area is just over 7,700 sq m, including around 190 sq m of commercial space. Completion and handover are scheduled for the first quarter of 2029.

Skanska has designed the project with an emphasis on functional layouts and high-quality living. The buildings are being designed to achieve energy class B and Miljöbyggnad Silver certification.

The deal brings the joint portfolio of Skanska Hyresbostäder, KPA and Folksam Group to 15 rental housing projects totalling around 1,700 apartments.

“We are very pleased to continue building our portfolio with another addition of newly built rental homes from Skanska. The project has a strong focus on reducing climate impact throughout its entire life cycle, from construction to operation, which is fully in line with our long-term strategy,” said Jonas Bjuggren, Head of Real Estate at Folksam Group.
