Skanska has been awarded the contract to renovate the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm. The EUR 307 million project is the largest in Statens fastighetsverk’s history and will involve comprehensive refurbishment of the historic building.
Statens fastighetsverk has selected Skanska as main contractor for the renovation and refurbishment of the Royal Swedish Opera in Stockholm.
“The renovation of the opera house is a complex project that requires the best possible utilization of both the client’s and the contractor’s expertise,” says Maria Östholm, director and project owner for the opera house renovation at Statens fastighetsverk.
The project represents Statens fastighetsverk’s largest undertaking to date, with a price tag of EUR 307 million.
