New group names CFO

On November 1 of this year, Hans-Jørgen Wibstad will take office as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Multiconsult ASA.

The new group, made up of Multiconsult ASA and Rejlers AB, is thereby recruiting Norwegian’s CFO. Hans-Jørgen Wibstad joins from Norwegian Air Shuttle ASA, where he has served as CFO since May 2022.

But he already knows Multiconsult well. He was the company’s CFO from 2019 to 2022.

Viktor Svensson, President and CEO of Rejlers, says:

“Hans-Jørgen combines deep financial expertise with broad experience from publicly listed international companies, and he is a seasoned leader. His knowledge of Multiconsult and his experience with transformation, capital markets and value creation make him the right person for the role. I am convinced that we will make a strong team. He will play a key role as we build a leading multidisciplinary engineering consultancy.”

Kristin O. Augestad, acting CEO of Multiconsult, welcomes him back:

She continues:

Staying with Multiconsult

The planned merger of Multiconsult and Rejlers remains subject to shareholder approval. But that is not all: it also requires the necessary regulatory approvals and the fulfillment of other customary closing conditions.

Should the new group not materialize, Hans-Jørgen Wibstad will remain CFO of Multiconsult.
