AMF Fastigheter is divesting the Mentorn 1 property to KPA Pension, part of the Folksam group, for around 3 billion Swedish kronor.
The property in central Stockholm was built in 2009 and has been owned by AMF Fastigheter since 2015.
“The real estate market has been hesitant for a period with low transaction volumes as a result. We now see that the wheels have started turning again. This transaction confirms that there is currently a good demand for modern office properties in attractive locations in central Stockholm,” says the head of real estate investments at AMF Fastigheter.
Mentorn 1 is located near Stockholm Central Station with the address Kungsbron 2-20 and Östra Järnvägsgatan 21-31.
The leasable area amounts to approximately 18,000 square meters, of which just over 90 percent is offices. The remaining premises consist of retail space and restaurants.
The largest tenants in the property are Google, Adyen and MSCI. On the ground floor, tenants include Hawaii Poké and Tokyo Ramen.
