Skanska wins NOK 2.8 billion Oslo contract

Skanska has signed a contract with Statsbygg to construct part of the new government quarter in Oslo, Norway. The contract is worth around NOK 2.8 billion, approximately SEK 2.7 billion, which will be included in the order bookings for Skanska's Nordic markets in the first quarter of 2025.

The project comprises 26,800 square meters, including the basement, making the building the second largest in the new government quarters. The project is aiming to achieve BREEAM Outstanding certification.

Construction will commence in January 2025 and is expected to be completed in September 2029.
