Messe München and Dmg Events have signed an agreement to bring Bauma, the world’s largest construction equipment trade fair, to Saudi Arabia as the kingdom’s infrastructure spending surge attracts global industry players.
Messe München and Dmg Events have signed a memorandum of understanding to bring Bauma, the world’s largest construction equipment trade fair, to Saudi Arabia.
The exhibition will be held at Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center and focus on construction machinery, heavy equipment, and mining technology, the organizers announced in a statement.
The expansion aligns with Messe München’s global growth strategy and targets Saudi Arabia’s surging construction sector, which is projected to reach €130 billion by 2030 driven by the kingdom’s Vision 2030 economic reform program.
“The economic tailwinds in Saudi Arabia are very strong. With Bauma Saudi Arabia, we become part of that momentum,” said Messe München co-CEOs Stefan Rummel and Reinhard Pfeiffer.
Bauma Saudi Arabia will mark the company’s second proprietary event in the kingdom, following the environmental technology fair IFAT scheduled for January 2026. Bauma currently operates editions in Munich, Shanghai, Delhi, and Brazil.
