Skanska has secured additional work on the hospital project in Fort Myers, Florida.
This time, the contract covers interior finishes and MEP work for the West Bed Tower expansion.
Skanska has signed a change order worth approximately USD 60M for the hospital project for Lee Health in Fort Myers, Florida.
The agreement covers interior finishes as well as mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) work for the West Bed Tower expansion.
The overall project includes a five-story hospital of approximately 38,600 square meters, a central energy plant, and a medical office building of approximately 11,600 square meters, which will house an ambulatory surgery center, among other facilities.
Construction began in June 2024. It is scheduled for completion in May 2028.
