Skanska’s data centre pipeline continues to grow. The company has won a $1.2 billion contract to build four new facilities in the southeastern United States, with construction starting in the third quarter of 2026.
Data centre orders keep rolling in for Skanska. The Swedish construction giant has secured a $1.2 billion contract, equivalent to approximately SEK 11.2 billion, to build four new data centres in the southeastern United States for an existing customer.
The four facilities will cover a combined area of around 75,000 square metres and include structural frames, building envelopes and fit-out of technical spaces, support functions and office areas.
Construction begins in the third quarter of 2026 and the project is due to be completed in the third quarter of 2028.
