Istropolis Project in Bratislava to Begin Construction

Real estate developer Immocap has unveiled updated plans for the Istropolis project in Bratislava’s Trnavské Mýto district, with construction expected to start in summer 2025.

The city-shaping development will feature:

• A 3,000-seat multifunctional hall for concerts, conferences and events
• High-quality urban housing with 600 new apartments
• Energy-efficient office spaces for 5,000 employees
• Generous public spaces including parks, squares and car-free zones

The mixed-use project designed by KCAP, Cityförster and Pantograph aims to transform Trnavské Mýto into a vibrant new meeting place and destination in the capital.

With a focus on sustainability and ESG principles, Istropolis will showcase innovative solutions like an interconnected energy system, water management, greenery integration and use of recycled materials.

The €400 million development has a valid zoning permit. Initial construction will begin on two office buildings and one residential tower, with overall completion in phases over several years.
