Dubai’s DMCC has selected a design partner for its ambitious Crypto Tower project, which aims to provide purpose-built space for over 700 blockchain companies.
DMCC, the Dubai-based international business district, has appointed the National Engineering Bureau (NEB) as design and supervision consultant for Crypto Tower, billed as the world’s first commercial tower dedicated to Web3 and digital assets.
The project, a joint venture between DMCC and REIT Development, will provide purpose-built office space for blockchain and crypto companies in Dubai’s Jumeirah Lakes Towers district.
NEB will handle architectural design, engineering, regulatory approvals, and on-site supervision. The consultancy brings four decades of experience delivering commercial developments across the UAE.
“The appointment marks a defining milestone in realizing our vision for the world’s first commercial tower dedicated to Web3 and digital assets,” said Ahmed Bin Sulayem, executive chairman and CEO of DMCC. The tower will serve DMCC’s community of over 3,400 tech companies, including more than 700 within its Crypto Centre.
Karen Kriska, VP of operations for Crypto Tower, said NEB’s track record in JLT made them “the perfect partner to bring Crypto Tower to life.”
The tower aims to capitalize on growing demand for Web3 infrastructure as Dubai positions itself as a global hub for digital assets and emerging technologies.
