YIT has agreed with TA-Asumisoikeus Oy on the implementation of a residential apartment building named Asumisoikeus Oy Espoon Viilivati 2 in the Kera area of Espoo. The deal also included the sale of the plot.
The company will construct 54 housing cooperative apartments, with the project covering approximately 3,900 square meters. The contract is valued at around €13 million and will be recorded in the first quarter’s order book.
The shared courtyard of the block pays attention to biodiversity, for example, through diverse and varying vegetation as well as stormwater depressions. Native species have been favored in plant selections. The Kera area previously housed a logistics center, about half of which has now been demolished, with the remaining part temporarily used by Kera Halls. In total, the new Kera area is zoned for about 300,000 square meters of housing and commercial space. Asumisoikeus Oy Espoon Viilivati is the first project YIT is implementing in the area.
