YIT has begun construction on the second phase of the Icy Hot Levi resort complex located adjacent to the Levi ski resort in Finnish Lapland. The €40 million project management contract was signed with Cloudberry Development Oy.
The new 6,200 sq.m development will feature 41 upscale chalet apartments ranging from 55 to 173 sq.m, a semi-detached house, parking garage and commercial space. The luxurious resort residences are designed as high-end vacation homes with stunning fell views. The architectural style continues the elegant direction set by the first phase.
“We are proud to realize this unique project amidst the stunning Lapland scenery. Cooperation with the project’s other parties has been excellent,” said Pekka Taskila, YIT’s project manager.
Construction is already underway, targeting completion in autumn 2025. Architectural design is by DC3 Design & Consulting Oy.
The premium resort residences cater to the growing demand for high-end accommodation and second homes in Finland’s popular Levi ski destination. The development expands YIT’s resort portfolio in the Finnish Lapland region.
