The construction work for Kiinteistö Oy Oulu Mäntylä’s Kaarna, carried out as a turnkey contract, started in March, and the project is expected to be completed in the spring of 2025. The building will have five above-ground floors. Apartment sizes will vary from two-room apartments to four-room apartments, and the total living area of the building will be 1,645 m².
“It’s great to start a joint project with a familiar and trusted partner in Oulu. The project nicely complements the Mäntylä area, where we have previously completed the Asunto Oy Oulu Mäntylä Kanerva. Mäntylä’s pleasant and peaceful environment offers a variety of outdoor and sports opportunities. Connections are smooth both to the downtown and to the shopping centers in the Limingantulli, Kaakkuri, and Joutsensilta areas,” says Markku Taskinen, CEO of Hartela North Finland Oy.
The green Mäntylä is located just 10 minutes away from the center of Oulu. Oulu’s Mäntylä is a highly regarded residential area, where new homes are rarely offered. The area, mainly composed of detached and terraced houses built in the 80s and 90s, is known for its tranquility and safe community spirit.
