LapWall Oyj’s €19 million factory investment in Pyhäntä is progressing according to plans. The new factory will triple the unit’s production capacity and is expected to be completed in late 2025.
The investment includes 10,500 sq.m. of new production space and 15,000 sq.m. of warehouse space. The factory will have a pre-fabrication line as well as assembly lines for wall elements and roof element systems. The annual capacity will be approximately 600,000 sq.m., and the factory will employ 50-60 people.
The new technology will enable significant cost savings in pre-fabrication and assembly, as well as improve material efficiency. The investment supports LapWall’s strategy of profitable growth and increasing market share.
Foundation pouring work will begin in early July. LapWall has chosen Penope Oy and Finnbaum Oy as equipment suppliers. The project has a high domestic content and regional employment impact.
