Danish wind turbine maker Vestas has secured an order for 900 MW from RWE for the German utility's Nordseecluster B offshore wind farm project in the North Sea.

The order includes the supply, installation and commissioning of 60 V236-15.0 MW wind turbines. Upon completion, Vestas will also service the wind farm under a 5-year service agreement followed by long-term operational support.

The Nordseecluster project is being executed in two phases – A and B. Phase A of 660 MW consists of 44 V236-15.0 MW turbines.
