Skanska has signed a whole series of undisclosed agreements for the construction of data centers and technology facilities, particularly in the U.S. Now it has happened again.
Skanska has secured a new secretive add-on contract worth over a billion kronor. This time, it involves a technology facility for an existing customer in the United States.
This time, it is an add-on contract with an existing customer for a technology facility. The contract is worth 1.3 billion Swedish kronor.
However, the company has chosen not to disclose who the customer is, exactly what type of facility is involved, or where it is located.
When Skanska released its results for the second quarter in July, it reported record figures for both its order backlog and order intake. This was driven by the enormous demand in data centers and semiconductor manufacturing.
The construction giant landed projects worth a total of 6.7 billion Swedish kronor during the period. We will find out how the third quarter went on November 5.
