Storsala has recruited Sofia Strandell as Head of Property to strengthen its organization in property management and real estate development.

She joins from Stadsrum Fastigheter, where she has held the same role since 2018. At Stadsrum Fastigheter, she was responsible for a portfolio of approximately 310,000 square meters (3.3 million square feet) of leasable area across ten cities.

Prior to that, Sofia Strandell worked at Atrium Ljungberg.

“What attracts me to Storsala is the combination of active property management, development, and acquisitions. I look forward to working with the team to enhance the existing portfolio and contribute to its continued growth,” says Sofia Strandell, Head of Property at Storsala.

She joins at a time when Storsala continues to expand its real estate portfolio through acquisitions. Over the past year, the company has grown its portfolio of investment properties through several acquisitions. As a result, the portfolio now includes not only residential properties but also commercial properties, complementing the company’s residential development business.

According to Storsala, the acquisitions have strengthened recurring cash flows and added development potential. The focus is now on active property management and real estate development.

Sofia Strandell will join Storsala’s management team, and in her role as Head of Property, she will be responsible for Storsala’s investment properties. She will focus on leasing and value-adding development.

“Our property portfolio has grown, and we are now strengthening our organization to realize the potential of our properties. Sofia has extensive experience in property management, leasing, and development and will play a key role in that work,” says Erik Engvall, CEO of Storsala.
