Editorial guidelines

IndustryRadar is an independent news service covering construction, real estate, energy, industry and infrastructure across the Nordics. These guidelines describe how we work and the principles that underpin what we publish.

Independence

IndustryRadar is editorially independent. We do not allow advertisers, owners or other external interests to influence our journalistic judgement of what to cover and how. Advertising and sponsored content are clearly labelled and kept separate from editorial content.

Sourcing and accuracy

We strive to ensure that all information we publish is accurate and verifiable. We rely on trustworthy sources, and we check information before publication. Where relevant, we state where information comes from, so readers can assess it for themselves.

When covering individuals, companies or projects, we aim for balance and give affected parties an opportunity to respond where appropriate.

Distinguishing news from commentary

We clearly distinguish between news articles, analysis and commentary, so that readers always know what kind of text they are reading.

Editorial responsibility

All content on IndustryRadar is published under editorial responsibility. Articles are written and edited by named journalists, and every article carries a clear author and publication date.

Corrections

We correct errors openly and as quickly as possible. See our dedicated Corrections page for how we handle this and how you can report an error.

Use of artificial intelligence (AI)

We use artificial intelligence (AI) solely as a tool in our editorial work. All content is written and checked by humans. See our dedicated page on the use of artificial intelligence for more information.
