A SEK 380 million order for NATO-compatible backhoe loaders marks a new milestone for Finnish manufacturer Lännen Tractors. Deliveries to an undisclosed European NATO member state will take place between 2026 and 2028.
Finnish manufacturer Lännen Tractors has received the largest order in its history. The company will deliver NATO-compatible backhoe loaders of the type Lännen 88M-DF to a European NATO member state, with deliveries scheduled between 2026 and 2028. The order is worth close to SEK 380 million.
– This is the single largest order in Lännen Tractors’ history. It strengthens both our product’s competitiveness and our position within the European defence industry, says CEO Veli Ollila
The company began preparations for a significant increase in production volumes last year. Work is also underway to improve production efficiency in collaboration with industry development partners Kaizen Institute Finland and Ziirto.
The company is a subsidiary of Summa Defence Abp.
