AF Gruppen’s subsidiary HMB has been commissioned by Bonava to build 113 apartments in Luthagen. The project will be carried out as a turnkey contract in two phases, with an option for phase 2. The contract value for both phases is MSEK 297 excluding VAT.
The project, named Seminaret, comprises the construction of 113 apartments across three swan-labeled residential quarters. Phase one includes 66 of the apartments. Two quarters will be built in red brick as a tribute to the central seminary building from 1917. The smaller, freestanding residential building will have a falun red wooden facade, tying it to the older rectory and gardener’s house in Seminarparken.
“We are pleased to collaborate with Bonava to realize this project in Luthagen. HMB looks forward to contributing to the development of a modern and sustainable residential area in this historically rich part of Uppsala,” says Bård Frydenlund, CEO of AF Gruppen.
Design of Seminaret starts immediately, with move-ins planned in phases from autumn 2026. Project start is contingent on sufficient pre-sales.
