NYAB Secures $93 Million Contract for Power Line Construction

NYAB will be constructing power lines between the transformer station in Hedenlunda and the transformer station at SSAB's steel plant in Oxelösund.

The project, awarded by Vattenfall Distribution, has a total value of approximately SEK 931 million ($93 million).

According to the Utilities Procurement Act, there is a 10-day appeal period before the contract can be signed.

The project is expected to start in the third quarter of 2024 and be completed in 2026.

It involves the construction of two 130 kilovolt power lines.
