On Monday, June 10th, it became clear that Mestergruppen can take over the bankruptcy estate of BoligPartner.
“This is great news from the Competition Authority and in line with our expectations,” says Stine Røsand, Director of Executing Chains at Mestergruppen.
Mestergruppen has bought parts of BoligPartner’s bankruptcy estate, including the trademark and chain concept.
The newly established legal entity is called Mestergruppen Boligpartner AS, but the brand name will remain BoligPartner as before. Now that the takeover has been approved by the Competition Authority, Mestergruppen will start hiring former BoligPartner employees.
“This is an ongoing process, we have conducted many interviews and will hire on an ongoing basis for the roles we need to fill. We warmly welcome the new employees to the Mestergruppen family,” says Røsand.
Now that the acquisition is completed, processes and projects can be initiated.
“We will now gain access to the data systems that allow us to restart operations. Our focus now is to offer sales support and technical services to our retailers and start delivery of goods to construction sites,” concludes Stine Røsand.
